My fellow students, it is high time you made changes on your attitude towards the life you live. You may come from a poor background but that does not imply that you now give up in life, be sure that you can make it and change your family status. What fails us most is lack of determination and aspiration. To those who come from rich families it does not allude that you can live the life of your choice, note that any opportunity you have now should be utilized to perfection. A Swahili proverb “Chetu siyo changu” i.e. “Ours is not mine” is an inspiration proverb and therefore you should start looking beyond what your family owns, this is because you still don’t have your own and should be focusing on having a better one.
Most students waste their time and shut their dreams at colleges and universities as a result of peer pressure. It is high time you were who you are and not what others are or what a friend wants you to be. Why should you waste your parents', guardian or sponsor’s money for non-academic expenses? If you are a male student spending money on a female colleague then be sure that this fellow will not positively transform your life instead she will throw a cold blanket on your future dreams.
As you read this you should at all times remember and be thankful to God for all that He has done for you, don’t always turn to God just because you have problems.
